HNJ Spoon Lights

Originally developed for a historical renovation outside of Charles Town, this lamp is a hybrid of the 18th Century lamps that utilized

spoons or other household hardware to shield one's eyes from the glare of the candle. These are outfitted with a single 150 watt halogen (Can be dimmed too)

bulb or gas elementsT.hese have been produced in bronze, copper, stainless, anodized steel and painted finishes. Although this lamp was originally

intended for one residence, it soon became a fixture on the majority of Jacobsen buildings in The United States.

Special orders are available in a variety of colors, finishes and hardware. Note: Because these fixtures are custom made on a per order mases, they are not UL rated.

The Dominican Series of furniture was designed for Mr. & Mrs. David Welles who commissioned Jacobsen to do a series of tropical beach houses in The Dominican Republic. All the pieces were originally designed for outdoor use with detachable canvas cushions. Made of 3/4" cypress or Mahogany lacquered in a variety of colors and stainless steel. The "Halo" fixture designed by Hugh Jacobsen and the late Edison Price:

The light features 240 20 watt 12

volt bulbs that radiate in a two sided circle. Special orders are available through the office.
