Where can I find those handsome interior doors?

Builders, God Bless'em, no matter the budget and size of any of our buildings, always complain about the hollow-core (HC) eight foot doors. We have built thousands of these HC doors in excess of 14'-6" and they have not fallen on people's heads, ripped apart, flown off the jambs or caused civil unrest at the Country Club. They work, but they are a little unusual for contemporary builders.

The reason we use these doors comes from an aesthetic from the earliest roots of Modernism. As the great American architect Lou Kahn said, "A door should not be a hole punched in the wall, but the separation where the walls divide and one enters....". This is very true and evident in The 1998 Dream House; entrances to rooms and traffic flow occurs between openings and separations between the walls which is what makes the spaces so elegant.

Ok, so you have read all of this archi-talk and you still don't know where to find the doors. We have just completed a residence in Telluride Colorado and we had a pleasant experience with the company below.
