"Liberty"

Nantucket, Massachusetts, 2002

The barn was originally built as a stable, carriage house, and servants' quarters to serve the elegant "Red Brick" mansion at 75 Main addressing Nantucket's Main Street.  An all-white interior abstracts the cottage architecture of the island, while the exterior retains key historic elements, such as the positioning of the full-height barn doors on street level.
